About Thistle Tech Electrical

Thistle Tech Electrical was established in Coatbridge on 10 October 2023. We started with a small team of hand-picked electricians and apprentices, a few vans and the tools to get the job done. Our early work focused mainly on commercial fit-outs, including shops, offices, storage units and industrial buildings.

Since then, we've continued to grow, building a reliable team with the experience to take on projects of all sizes. From the beginning, our focus has been simple: provide quality electrical work, stick to agreed timescales and budgets, and make sure every job is completed properly.

We work to current electrical regulations and became NICEIC approved in April 2025. Alongside our SafeContractor accreditation, this reflects the standards we expect from our team and the work we carry out.

As the business has grown, we've expanded into domestic electrical work, insurance repairs and EV charger installation and servicing. Whether it's a small repair at home, a commercial fit-out or a new EV charging installation, we bring the same approach to every job.

We're proud of what we've built so far, and our aim remains the same: to be an electrical contractor our customers can rely on.
